Fabricated from 304 or 316 grades of stainless steel, our pit grates enjoy the many benefits that come with this, from resistance to corrosion and durability, down to the attractive lustre of the material.

The heelguard wedge wire grating holds additional functional benefits. To begin with, the wedgewire profile features a relief angle on the underside of the bars, thus promoting more efficient drainage. Secondarily, the heelguard nature of the grating prevents heels from becoming lodged between the grills, thus making our pit grates the obvious option for areas that experience large volumes of pedestrian traffic.. 

At Paige Stainless, we are committed to quality, and specialize in custom fabrications. To speak to this, all of our pit grates and frames feature a welded construction, full perimeter bar on grates, and can be customised to accommodate load classes A – D. We even customise bar gaps/profile on the grates to suit the application! Further options include leveling tags, lifting handles and lockdown points.
